On the internet there are many web sites that are looking for quality material and if you are able to provide this you can earn money. There are a number of good web sites that you can sign up with to get your writing career started.

Associated Content is one of the better ones and on this site there are a number of ways to make money. They have an assignment desk which posts topics which they are looking to be written. If you think you can do this you claim the assignment and write it. However you are also free to write on any subject you want and post this on the site. There are a couple of ways to be paid. Firstly you can get an upfront payment for writing some articles and also you are paid for the page views you generate with the content you produce. Up front payments can be $10-$20 with the page views generating $1.50 per 1000 views. As you get more views, this can rise to $2.00 per 1000 views.

Helium is another good site and there are a number of ways to earn money on this. They have thousands of titles that require to be written and you can search and find topics that suit you. They also pay for page views of your content although there are more lucrative ways to make money on this site. Upfront payments of up to $2.50 can be made if you are one of the first five people to write to a title and if you are the very first you will get an estra $1 bonus. Helium also has a market place where customers post jobs for anything from $10 to over $100 dollars. You can write to these and then compete with any others who also do this and if your article is selected by the customer you get paid. There are also weekly writing competitions which usually have a first price of $50, with $30 for second and $10 for third.

Constant Content is another writing site although this is slightly more business like. Customers post requests for people to write articles and the payment for these can go up to over $100 depending on what is to be written and the length required. If you think you can write the article you do so and post it to the site. It is then reviewed by a Constant Content editor and if it is accepted will be sent to the customer who has the option to buy it. If they do not purchase the article, it is then put in the general content where any other customer is able to view and purchase it if they like it. On this site you can also write on any subject you want and if your article is accepted it will be put in the general content where any customers visiting the site to look for content can view it and purchase it.

All three sites produce an opportunity to make money from your writing and it is possible to do so. I use all on a regular basis and have found it possible to make money. If you enjoy writing, it is certainly something you should try.
